We offer a number of options for your own private wine tour here in Tuscany. Most tours can be customized to your liking, just let us know if you are celebrating an anniversary or other special event.
Chianti Wine Tour and Country Picnic
We will visit two special family run wineries in the Chianti Region and after wine tasting, enjoy a picnic at our special “secret” picnic spot overlooking the fantastic Chianti hills.
We provide all the food, wine and water, it is your day to sit back and relax, and enjoy the local specialties we have chosen for you while taking in the incredible views.
Includes, two winery tours with tastings, a picnic with local meats, cheeses, breads, dips and spreads. All sourced locally, and served by us. A bottle of Chianti wine from a local family run winery in the region will be served at lunch.
Montalcino Winery Brunello Tour with Lunch – Full Day
We start the day with a scenic drive through the rolling Tuscan country side to our first winery, with incredible views of the valley and mountains around Montalcino. We’ll begin with a tour of the wine cellars before our first tasting of the famous Brunello wines.
Next, we’ll visit the ancient walled city of Montalcino where we’ll tour the fortress, and enjoy a relaxing walk around the town. After our walk through Motalcino, we’ll stop at our second family winery, which includes a tour of their extensive vineyards, along with a wine tasting and lunch at the winery.
Weather & time, permitting we will stop at a local coffee shop on the way back to Siena, or a walk through the quaint town of Buonconvento.
Please note: we prefer to only take people of the same group on a tour, and we do not combine couples with other couples they do not know.

Cheese & Meat Lovers Tour, 7 course meat meal including Bistecca alla Fiorentina
We will start by visiting a small family run sheep farm for a tasting of the local handcrafted Pecorino cheeses.
From there we will head into the heart of the Chianti Region to the small town of Panzano. Here we will visit a 5th generation family butcher shop owned by Dario Cecchini, a man who is very passionate about his craft. This butcher shop was always known by the locals, but recently gained much notoriety after a visit by TV food show host Anthony Bourdain. See when Anthony Bourdain meets Butcher Dario Cecchini
Before lunch, we’ll enjoy an aperitivo in the shop tasting such local specialities as lard and salumi, followed by a 7 course meal, that is focused on… you got it… MEAT!
Sit back, roll up your sleeves, as we are served table side to the wood burning grill for some most unforgettable tasting cuts of meats and steaks, all culminating to the most famous steak of all the Bistecca alla Fiorentina. This is one of those once in a lifetime experiences. The staff are friendly the atmosphere inviting. Feels like family sitting down to enjoy the amazing food and company. We have often been offered an after dinner grappa or brandy with our dessert.
After lunch we suggest a stroll (the Italians call it a passeggiata) through the small village of Panzano or the town of Castellina in Chianti. This will help us digest, and as always, a caffe’ or gelato is an option.
We provide water and snacks in the van for the day. Sit back and relax, and enjoy the local specialties we have chosen for you while taking in the incredible views of the Chianti region.

Hands-On Tuscan Cooking Class – Enjoy Your Efforts for Dinner!
We will work with an Italian chef in her kitchen to prepare local dishes. At the end of the 4 hour hands-on instruction, you will sit down and enjoy the fruits of your labor. We will include a bottle of local wine with your dinner. What would you like to make? The choice is yours. Your choice of a pasta such as Gnocchi, Ravoli of Pici. Pasta sauce of your choice, vegetable and meat course, as well as a dessert. All made from scratch.
Includes: 4 hours hands-on instruction with an Italian chef in a commercial kitchen. Dinner of the items your prepared. Recipes and a bottle of local wine with dinner.
Pienza Cheese, Wine & Photo Opp Tour
This is a full day tour and we cover a lot of sightseeing.
We start with a local winery and tasting here in Chianti. We will visit both the cellars and the vineyards for an informative tour of the process of making wine.
Then we enjoy a tasting of four wines and olive oil. Next, we’ll continue the scenic drive to the small hilltop town of Pienza. Touring on back country roads with amazing views.
This tour is perfect for photo opportunities of villages, villas and cypress trees.
Upon arrival in Pienza we will be served a 3-course light lunch which includes a sampling of the local Pecorino cheeses
After lunch, we’ll walk in town to take in the breathtaking views. We’ll also visit local shops where you can purchase cheese to take back home with you.
Castlenuovo Berardenga Wine Tour with Lunch
We start the day with a short drive to the Southern part of the Chianti Classico region, through the country side just outside the walls of Siena.
The first winery we visit is a small family-run winery producing excellent Chianti. We will sample the wines while enjoying the views of the surrounding hills, and a tour of the small production cellar.
We will continue to the drive to the small hamlet of San Gusme’ where we will enjoy a light lunch of local dishes before heading out to our second winery.
The second winery is also a family-run winery. We will meet the family and hear some of the history of how they came to be the owners of this wonderful piece of property and see how they continue to make the wine the way their family has been making wine for 4 generations! They also produce olive oil, which we will sample.
Weather & time permitting, we will stop at a special Abbey built in 1341 with a unique history and story behind it. We sometimes are able to view frescos and other parts of the abbey not normally open to the public.
Charcuterie Private Lunch/Dinner at a Salumeria near Siena (Half-Day)
￼This special Salumeria is a historical delicatessen, which offers artesian quality products. The salamis are lovingly made by, the owner and Norcino, using local recipes that are 300 years old. All salamis are made from local livestock without any use of colorants, preservatives, milk based ingredients or gluten. They also have a great selection of wines and cheeses. This salumeria is located approx. 20 minutes from Siena.
Lunch includes a large selection of salumi and meats handcrafted by the owner. Vino della casa and after dinner drink.
Dinner Includes a 3-course meal, a chance to meet and talk with the owner, vino della casa, dessert and Vinsanto.
Tuscan Craft Beer Tour
Want to join us on one of our newest tours? If you thought Tuscany was all about wine, think again. Craft Brewing is alive and well here in these parts.
Two summers ago we attended the first annual Tuscan Craft Beer Fest and we loved it so much we decided to make it into a tour.
We will drive you in comfort through the scenic Tuscan hills. We’ll visit two breweries for beer tastings, enjoy lunch, and then drive you back to Siena.
Includes visit to two local Tuscan breweries, with samples and lunch. This festival usually takes place in July.
Leave the driving to us so you may enjoy the beers of your choice throughout the day.
Dolce Sunset Tour & Photo Opp Tour
(Half Day tour)
Come watch the setting sun over the Tuscan hills!
We meet approximately 2 hours before sunset. This tour drives you through the Crete Sensi for some incredible views and the opportunity to take photos. Once we arrive at our pre-chosen destination, we’ll tempt you with some freshly baked cookies and cold drinks.
We bring the lawn chairs and the snacks. You get to watch the setting sun, take some incredible photos, or just sit back and relax.
Add Prosecco to Any Tour
We’ll bring a bottle of Prosecco, which can be ceremonially opened the way the French do with a sword. It is called Sabrage. If you have never seen this performed, you will be wowed!
