Our Tuscany

DEB

I was in awe when I made my first visit to Siena in 2013. This ancient town which fiercely tired to protect itself from Florence during many battles in the medieval age. This land so rich in history and breathtaking scenery which unfolded along the picturesque Tuscan landscapes. It seemed these views of the rolling hillsides, olive groves and vines were postcards that had come to life. I was hooked. I did not know then that I would end up making it my home, but I did know I would return.

Italy calls and while I cannot claim any Italian heritage, whenever I traveled to Italy, I felt the urge to connect with its people and it’s land. There is something to be said about living in modern times in the old world. Everyday brings on new challenges and also new pleasures for me.
